My most recent works of art. Sorry for the slowness of my posting. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with it better as new works of art come out.

Drawing

I wanted to do something for a friend. Knowing that he liked Gargoyles I set off to try and draw one. Took a few days and a lot of mistake but I was really proud of the way that it turned out. I've never thought of drawing as any sort of strong point for me, so I don't tend to do much of it. After this, however, I may have to try my hand at it a little more.

My friend loved it, which made me even happier with the work of art.

Bind-It-All Books

Made these books over the weekend while at my parents house. Hadn't ever done a book using the Bind-It-All, and have found that I love it. So much easier than sewing, and still provides wonderful results. Also, Grundgeboard is awesome for book making. Sturdy and pliable it makes for great covers. Obviously these two books are very different although done in the same style. Just showing different sides of me. Hope you all enjoy them.

Collage Card

I am not really sure that I like this card. I always marvel at the way my mom can put things like this together in a card and it turns out so fantastic. So, I gathered up several things that I felt could go together and made it my goal to make something using them. I would love some feedback as to whether it's good or bad. Thanks :)

Magic The Gathering Strikes Again

I was so thrilled with how my Magic The Gathering ATC's turned out that I decided to try and do several pictures from it and make it into a card. I absolutely love it! I think it may be one of my favorite cards to date, and it doesn't even have an Asian theme.

New Background

Using one of Tim Holtz techniques I made the background paper, then added the subtle flowers by dipping the stamp in alcohol and gently stamping it onto the background. Was happy with how it turned out. Finished it off with things that I had just laying around on the table.

I made this card for my cousins baby shower. Not really my usual lol, but I thought it turned out pretty ok.

Magic The Gathering

The photographs on these three ATC's were all cut from damaged Magic The Gathering Cards. While I do play the game it was very cool to be able to use the cards in art.

Asian ATC's

These are a few of the Asian ATC's I have done over the past couple weeks.
