New Card

Started this card last month, finally finished it up the other day. Just a random thought and card, no real planning involved. Not my favorite card every made, but turned out pretty well.

Quick Bookmark

Threw a quick bookmark together with partially completed pieces I had lying around. Not my greatest art form ever, but turned out good for a ten minutes project.

Mini Cd Art

So, I had one of the small three inch cd's laying on my art table and I wanted to do something with it. It isn't my usual style, but I was very happy with how it turned out. There is a layer of white mulberry paper over the whole surface that I used a watered down diamond glaze mixture to adhere. The flower and asian symbol is another layer of mulberry paper that I stamped on and colored before adhering it the same way. The quote was stamped on shrink plastic and shruk (obviously).

Drawing

I wanted to do something for a friend. Knowing that he liked Gargoyles I set off to try and draw one. Took a few days and a lot of mistake but I was really proud of the way that it turned out. I've never thought of drawing as any sort of strong point for me, so I don't tend to do much of it. After this, however, I may have to try my hand at it a little more.

My friend loved it, which made me even happier with the work of art.

Bind-It-All Books

Made these books over the weekend while at my parents house. Hadn't ever done a book using the Bind-It-All, and have found that I love it. So much easier than sewing, and still provides wonderful results. Also, Grundgeboard is awesome for book making. Sturdy and pliable it makes for great covers. Obviously these two books are very different although done in the same style. Just showing different sides of me. Hope you all enjoy them.
